On offer is a very rare double sided ammolite Imperial cabochon pendant.
This cabochon sports two completely different colors, bright leaf green on one side and lapis blue on the other and has been set so that either side can be worn at the wish of the wearer.
An Imperial gem is rare in ammolite and the name denotes color on both sides.
This beauty was collected in the rough on Blood reserve land by a member of the tribe in south Alberta Canada near where I live and sold on to one of Albertas most experienced finishers who produced this mirror shine by polishing alone. There is no epoxy on the surfaces of this cabochon.
Set in sterling silver.
Note:
Blue is a rarer color in ammolite. We strive to get some blue in our ammolite jewelry—the mark of high quality.Lesser gems have no blue in them.
Unlike mass produced jewelry this is a one of a kind item as no other exists just like it.Each ammolite gemstone is like a fingerprint, absolutely unique.
A superb one of a kind gift for a loved one or simply a treat for yourself.
Canadian Ammolite is always appreciated.

Not likely any one in your circle will have anything like this or even be able to identify the gem--Ammolite jewelry is that rare---many have yet to see it! It is often seen as cruise ship jewelry at astonishingly high prices especially on the Caribbean,Mexico and Alaskan runs.
Canadian Ammolite from Alberta in good quality is one of the rarest gems in the world. It has been compared favourably for its brilliant colors with black opal from Australia--and at a far more reasonable price point too.
It is found only in one small area in Alberta Canada near where I live and is widely recognized as the most colorful of Canadian gemstones.
Only a small percentage is top gem quality. No other useful deposits of gem grade ammolite is known to exist—so when supplies are exhausted there will be no more—which is why demand and prices are increasing—in fact they have doubled in the last five years for top quality ammolites and show no signs of slowing down.
I supply a free plated chain for presentation purposes only as most people like to choose their own chain designs.
Followers of the ancient practice of Feng Shui believe that ammolite is the most important gem ever discovered for its metaphysical ability to promote health, healing and prosperity on its owner. They call it the "Seven Color Prosperity Stone"
